Be kind…

It costs nothing to be kind.

Kindness, compassion, humility, grace. Such peaceful and hopeful words. A broken heart, broken dreams heal so much faster with kindness or am I moving so fast I miss the signs?Do I see the sadness in the sales clerk eyes? The broken smile of a child? What would it cost me to slow down and start to be God ‘s hands and feet? Being kind is such a simple thing, maybe that’s why it’s overlooked. Today I can practice being kind. Say hi to the clerk, call a neighbor, compliment the people in my life.
