I commit myself to seeking the will of my Higher Power.

Commitment which is solid, not flinching, steady, and dedicated to a cause. To what things are we really committed? Maybe a job, a relationship, a social issue, our families, our pets, recovery, a health routine. How deep are our commitments? What is our moral truth when making a commitment? Are we serious, are we willling to go to any length to keep our commitments? How are others affected? The deepest commitment I know is the commitment to God to seek his will daily. The turning away from self, and turning to a Higher Power shows a humble desire to have God in our lives. This commitment amazingly is reciprocated from our Higher Power. We are committed to him and God likewise is committed to us. This partnership is powerful, intimate and rewarding.

Can I commit to a higher ideal or Higher Power today? Help me to reaffirm my decisions.
