Don’t wag your finger at me.

Scolding me, chastising me, taking my inventory. All these behaviors say more about you then me. You see, I trust in God, and God will remove the defects of character that he wants to have taken from me. Not what other people direct.

For years, I have allowed myself to be bullied, manipulated and chastised because of my very human traits. I’ve done this out of people pleasing, the desire not to have conflict and just plain emotional laziness. But no more. Today I choose to trust God. God will direct my path. If I have a behavior or trait that God wants removed for my own good or others, I trust him to be the clean up crew.

So today. Am I listening to the voice of my higher power or putting more value in

people? Remember what people think, do or say is none of my business.
