I love this! Taking care of the caregiver, therapist, restaurant worker, nurse, retiree, or mechanic. Who ever is in you, taking care of that person.

Just like dragging a screaming toddler through a store, I drag myself though my day. No food, or hydration, just enough time to go to the bathroom. What’s amazing is that I wonder why I’m snappy, cranky and impatient. Who wouldn’t be? We ask so much of ourselves.

What about taking care of the person inside of us. Instead of dragging, nurturing. There is an amazing writer inside of me. I have to create the conditions that allow her to surface and hone her craft. So, not getting too hungry, angry, lonely or tired is a good place to start.

How can you start to create the conditions for the best version of you to surface?
