A little bit of discontent is normal, but to be chronically discontent is an affront to God.
How often do I grumble? Complain? Find fault with my situations? Once in a while, sure, that’s fine. But to always be negative, constantly unhappy, fear based and critical is toxic. Not a good look. Depression and anxiety is sure to follow. This attitude cannot be blamed on people, places and things. Definitely cannot be blamed on diseases or disorders. Chronic malcontent is not being grateful. There is no humility. Not even a simple “thank you” to the universe. Hard to swallow.
So today. Breathe deep, check your heart space and say thank you, thank you, thank you. Radical trust and radical gratitude will help turn your attitude around and honor God with your thanks.
