Trust is my word this day. Borrowed and blended from a friend. I breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth and gently say “trust”. Trust myself, the universe, my friends, God. Just trust.

Yesterday while at my moms facility, I got a rock solid example of trust. Mhy mom had needed to use the restroom and a caregiver was trying to guide her. She started to resist, yanking her arm away. I saw the struggle, walked over, grabbed her hand. She immediately relaxed, held my hand and gently went into the restroom. The reason she trusted me was because she know me.

I thought, I’d like such simple, honest trust. But how can I obtain it? Well she knew me. She’s known me all my life. That’s the key - knowing.

Who do I need to trust with my life? My higher power. Using my moms example, I need to focus on knowing my higher power. Knowing my higher power will come by learning the attributes, following with scripture, and practicing the attributes in my own life.

It’s a start!
