Take a seat at the "be still" table and let him do his work.

It is so hard to be still. It is so hard to just relax and let go and let God. I want to control, predict and manage every situation that comes my way. But, how is that working? It brings nothing but anxiety, nervousness and a big ball of fear.
Recently, I was struggling, praying and spinning like a top wanting to take charge. I read this passage "Take a seat at the still table and let him do his work". I pondered this. I thought, I can do this. My inner child can sit at the be still table and let God work. It worked! I was able to for the first time in my life quiet down and really let him do his thing. And he did. Ever since then, when I remember to sit, and be still, God works out my situations, my problems. I'm so grateful. I am now able to better emotionally regulate.
Are you struggling? Is it hard to let go and let God? If so, have a seat at the "still" table. We'll sit together, have a cup of tea, hold hands and wait patiently for our creator to take care of us as only he can.
